WHAT THIS CAMPAIGN IS ABOUT:

Challenge: Focus In An Overscheduled, Noisy World

There’s no doubt about it, we all have too much to do in too little time AND for many of us, it’s in workspaces that are open and chaotic.  This is a new problem that has a new solution.

A nice pair of headphones and music often do the trick, however, finding the right music to help one concentrate is a lifesaver for many.

Introducing Whited Sepulchre Records. We release thoughtfully curated, beautiful ambient music to create your own cocoon of sound to complete your tasks and focus on your most important job – living well in a world of doing more with less.

braeyden jae Fog Mirror (WS001)

braeyden jae is the moniker of Braden McKenna, an SLC, UT based sound artist who has crafted a weighted, textural piece of compositional drone punctuated with glorious washes of crackling static that gather like visible precipitation. Fog Mirror is braeyden jae's most deliberately paced, emotionally resonant record to date; the aural equivalent of watching a thick gray blanket envelop some distant, cliffed coastline. Braden has released music on Patient SoundsBridgetown, A Giant FernSpring Break Tapes!Hel Audio and the Inner Islands tape label which McKenna founded, as well as future releases on Phinery, Wounded Knife, and Geology.

ant'lrd Sleep Drive (WS002)

ant'lrd, the name given to Colin Blanton, is responsible for scores of moving synth-landscapes of obscured inputs and high cloud ceilings. Blanton  runs and operates the insanely prolific Baro Records out of Portland, Oregon responsible for releases by Benoît PioulardJulian LynchAndrew Broder, etc.. . For Sleep Drive, he called on Odd Nosdam (cLOUDDEAD.anticon) to master the record, drawing out inherent melodies in the album's stunning ambient compositions and anchoring Sleep Drive's beat-oriented tracks  by wrapping them in a palpable, warm vinyl crackle. The result is something to lose an entire afternoon in without the slightest sensation of lost time. A totem against procrastination and inattention.

Everything else:

This is our first commercial project. We are a bootstrap startup – it’s all sweat equity. We will be launching three albums a year, both available on vinyl and digital download. Unlike most projects like this, we already have a distribution deal in place. It, of course is contingent on launching this first product.
