New Tongues wants you to be a part of our debut record, We Are The Ones We Have Been Waiting For. We have been a band for a little over a year and now we'd like to share our album with you. We are going to press 8 songs, clocking in at 40 minutes, onto vinyl. These songs were mastered by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering and recorded by Daniel Ruder. Each record ordered will be a unique package with original photography by Irons International, and will be pressed on 150 gram random colored, recycled vinyl. In addition to the unique vinyl, there will be a hand packaged limited edition insert within each copy of the record. This will make your copy one of a kind and something that is few and far between in an age of digital music. The record will also include your choice of two different digital downloads of the album.

Everything else:

We're really proud of this record. This album was planned from the beginning stages to serve on a physical medium; not a download, stream, or podcast; but a piece of vinyl. Vinyl records are made with machines and labor that occupy a physical space. Thanks for looking at this and we hope you can contribute in some capacity.

January 8, 2013 - T-Shirt sizes

We are super excited and completely overwhelmed by the genoristy of so many amazing people. With out your help, support, and donations there is no way that we could do this.

If your reward package includes a T-Shirt (basically if you donated $50.00 or more) will you please email us at and let us know what size T-shirt you would prefer. It will help us put together the reward packages a lot quicker this way.

Thanks again for all the help we are less than $100 for our goal, pretty amazing.

January 10, 2013 - WE DID IT!!!

Well we did it, we actually met our goal of $2000 a few days ago. We can't begin to express how thankful we are to all of those who donated money to help us put out our first record. We still have 22 days left on the campaign so if anyone still feels like they want to pre-order the record (this saves us from selling it to you later, and you will most likely get the record before it actually comes out), or wants to take part in the other rewards we have available you still have time. Any further contrubutions just help us out more in the long run, and we will be greatful for those too.

We are trying very hard to get a Pre- Download available for those of you who have already given us a donation. If you gave more than $10 you are promised a free download, which we didn't think we would have for awhile. Hopefully in the next few days we will be sending out download codes to anyone that gave more than $10. Then if you actually gave more than $15 you will be sent the record probably by the end of February or early March and with your record you will also get a download code. Hopefully that makes sense, basically if you are getting a record you will end up with 2 download codes, this way you can download the record early, and then ypu will get another one with your LP, which you can give to someone else, or download the record again, or whatever. We just want to get the music to you as fast as we can and we felt like a pre-download would be a great way of doing that and saying thanks for your help.
